DIAMOND CORE DRILLING TOOLS WARRANTY POLICY

Ⅰ. SCOPE

The Guizhou Vilong Equipment Co,.Ltd Exploration Products covered by the Warranty include:

In the hole Products

• Drill Rods and Casing
• Core Barrels and their individual components
• Accessories and their individual components
Diamond Products

• Drill Bits, Reaming Shells, and Casing Shoes

Ⅱ. STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS and CONDITIONS

Guizhou Vilong Equipment Co,.Ltd warrants each manufactured exploration Product delivered to end user to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of (12) months from the date of delivery. Guizhou Vilong Equipment Co,.Ltd will provide a new part or repaired part, for any part, which is found after inspection and confirmation by Guizhou Vilong to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period.

It is understood that some of the Products (for example In the hole components and complete assemblies) are subject to normal wear and tear, requiring frequent replacement. These Products are not covered by Warranty, unless after inspection and confirmation by Guizhou Vilong, the Products are found to be defective in design, material or workmanship during the twelve (12) month warranty period. At Guizhou Vilong’s discretion, In the hole components and assemblies covered by this warranty may not be considered to be defective as complete units and replacement may be limited to the defective parts or components.
This Warranty does not apply to failures due to abuse, misuse, negligent repairs, corrosion, erosion, normal wear and tear, alterations or modifications made to the Product without expressed written consent of Guizhou Vilong.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING IN LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST LATENT DEFECTS. GUIZHOU VILONG IS NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, COSTS OR EXPENSES, EXCEPTING ONLY THE COST OR EXPENSE OF REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR AS SPECIFIED ABOVE. This warranty shall be governed by the laws of China.

Ⅲ. WARRANTY VALUE

Warranty value begins at full purchase price of the Product with possible reductions taking into consideration normal wear and tear and the expected Product’s life, given local operational conditions. Any such reduction is determined at the sole discretion of Guizhou Vilong.

Ⅳ. WARRANTY VALIDITY

The warranty is valid only if a defect in your Guizhou Vilong product appears under conditions of operation provided for under proper use, maintenance and storage. The Product must be used for the purpose it was designed and should be commissioned, operated and maintained in accordance with the Guizhou Vilong operations and/or service manual as applicable.

Ⅴ. WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Guizhou Vilong reserves the right to declare a warranty claim null and void if it is proven at Guizhou Vilong sole’ discretion that the Products are being used in conjunction with unapproved products from other manufacturers. Guizhou Vilong reserves the right to declare a warranty claim null and void for Guizhou Vilong drill rod if drill rod thread compound was used that DOES NOT contain metal particulate, ideally Zinc, copper or Graphite. Warranty claims will be denied if claimed parts / samples are not returned when requested, or the Products returned are in poor condition as determined at the sole discretion of Guizhou Vilong.

Ⅵ. HOW TO START A WARRANTY CLAIM

To start a warranty claim for Products covered by this warranty, please contact your Guizhou Vilong representative in writing via fax, letter or by email within 10 (ten) business days from the date the defect appears. The Guizhou Vilong representative will contact you to review the claim, request additional information and arrange for samples of the defective Product. Failure to provide any additional requested information and / or samples of defective Products will result in delay or cancellation of the warranty claim.

Any issues not mentioned in this warranty shall be settled through negotiation between the manufacturer and claimer.
